Amazon has this week revealed some unexpected new privacy controls for Alexa users. Here’s all that you need to know.

That there is a smart speaker privacy threat surface should come as no surprise to anyone. By their very nature, these devices are always listening out for so-called wake words to activate the recording of your question or request for processing. Amazon just swerved the privacy vehicle a little more towards the user.
