Google has just published a comprehensive report titled ‘Buying Spying’ that provides critical insights into commercial surveillance vendors. This report is the outcome of the joint efforts of both the Threat Analysis Group and the Jigsaw Unit at Google. The report unequivocally affirms that these vendors pose a real and significant threat to Google users, notwithstanding the massive amounts of data collected by Google itself.
