New iPhone 15 Leak: This Much-Loved Apple Security Feature Goes AWOL

Touch ID for iPhone 15? Forget it, says Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, well known for having a decent track record regarding Apple tech rumors. In his latest subscriber-only ‘Power On’ newsletter, Gurman says that Apple has been testing ‘in-screen’ Touch ID implementations for the iPhone. That’s the good news. The bad is that he doesn’t think it will be coming to the iPhone 15 or any other high-end iPhone ‘in the foreseeable future.
