Twitter confirms hackers downloaded data from accounts using the ‘Your Twitter Data’ tool which can create an archive of DMs
With a forensic review of all 130 accounts that were compromised in the July 15 Twitter hack underway, what many security experts feared now seems to have been confirmed. This wasn’t just a Bitcoin scam; the hackers also downloaded data from some of the hacked accounts.
