This year, Black Friday happens to be the day after Thanksgiving and, in effect, marks the start of the holiday shopping season. Consumers may well get more than they bargained for this November 29, as cybercriminals seek to exploit the retail feeding frenzy. Such is the concern over the potential for malicious and fraudulent activity that one U.S. Government agency has urged consumers to “remain vigilant” and take precautions to avoid falling victim.
