Password managers are a good thing for your login security. Unless they open the door to attackers through privilege escalation

Researchers at SafeBreach have disclosed vulnerabilities in a popular password manager that could if the circumstances are right, enable a privilege escalation attack by a malicious actor. This alone is headline-worthy when the product with the vulnerability is a password manager; the hurt didn’t stop there though.
