Security researchers warn that this large-scale sextortion campaign might very well be using your computer to distribute sexual blackmail demands

Check Point Research has today published the results of a five-month-long investigation into what it has called the “largest-scale sextortion campaign” it has ever seen. What’s more, the threat actors behind the sexual blackmail scam could be using your computer to help distribute their demands for payment without your knowledge; up to 15,000 per infected computer.
